Blogmas Day 6- Pizza Quesadillas

Hey Guys,

So lately I've been loving making the Old El Paso Quesadilla Kits and I saw a pin on pintrest that was pizza quesadilla's, so I thought that I would share it with you all since I like them so much. I cant remember who's board I found the recipe on but they are easy to cook and yummy to eat.

What you will need:-
Soft Corn Tortillas (two for each quesadilla)
Tomato Puree
Grated Cheese
Any Filling
Butter or Oil

Step 1- Put a pan on medium heat and add your oil or butter till its melted.

Step 2- Get a tortilla wrap and put cheese on top of it.

Step 3- spread a small amount of tomato purée onto the other wrap.

Step 4- Put the wrap with the cheese on in the pan till its melted and the wrap has gone brown on the bottom.

Step 5- Take the cheese wrap out and put the other wrap with the tomato purée on in the pan.

Step 6- Put the cheese wrap on top of the tomato purée wrap till its stuck together and all hot.

I know this wasn't to do with Christmas but I hope you like this idea and if you try it don't forget to tag me in Instagram and leave a comment if you have any other cook quesadilla ideas for me.

Blogmas Day 5- Pre-Christmas Christmas

Hey Guys,

I wanted to share a little family tradition that my sister, her husband and me have created over the past few years and its called Pre-Christmas Christmas, which is basicly a mini version of christmas on the last weekend before December starts or the first weekend of December. We usually go to Bakwell Christmas market on the Saturday and then on Sunday have a mini christmas with a christmas dinner, secret Santa and putting up christmas decorations in her house. So I thought I would show you her christmas tree, my secret Santa gifts and my Christmas dinner!

We decided this year we wanted to fill the tree with as many baubles as we possibly could without it looking silly and I think we did quite well.

Sorry if you are a vegetarian, but this is meat central! I had pigs in blankets, stuffing, Turkey with bacon on it, roast potatoes and gravy. It was definitely one of the best Christmas dinners I've ever had.

So my secret Santa match this year was my sister and she got me this beautiful scarf, I've been wanting a new one for a while. She also got me an amazing book that we found in a second hand book shop and it's called Simon's cat. I love this book because it reminds me of my cats so much!

I hope you liked learning about one of my family traditions if you have any cool traditions then don't forget to leave them in the comments and make sure to come back tomorrow for Blogmas day 6!

Question of the day- Do you have any christmas traditions?

September Friday Favourites!

Hey Guys,

So its the fourth Friday of the month of September and I decided I needed to do my Friday favourites before September ended. So here I am telling you about five of my favourite things from the month of September. This month as you may know from my previous Blog post I moved out of my family home again into university halls and its been quite an experience and I decided to add some of my university favourites into my monthly favourites as this has been the main focus of my month.

1.Laptop

My first favourite of the month has to have been my laptop, this has saved my life over the past week or so because I am only able to connect this and my phone to the internet at the moment so I am so grateful that I have this until I get my Ipad and computer up and running.

2. Fairy Lights

So I decided that I wanted to make my uni halls feel a little more like home and decided to buy some fairy lights. I am now in love with fairy lights they are a different alternative to having a bright light on all the time and I feel they make things feel a little bit more chilled out when you are trying to relax.

3. Stationary

I was slightly unprepared for going back to uni this year so a few days before I moved into my halls I decided to go buy some new stationary and I was very happy when I found these notebooks. They were in my local supermarket and they were reduced to two pound each I also got some other things such as animal print pens, a notebook for Blog ideas and a diary so I know when I have things to do.

4. Love heart set of three drawers

I got this set of drawers for Christmas last year and have been saving them for when I move into halls but they definitely are a good purchase I like to keep things such as earrings and jewellery in them so that it doesn't get all muddled up. They are also a good centre piece for my windowsill as i dont have an amazing view from my halls window.

5. Deserts

Over the past week I have developed a bit of a taste for deserts after I have had my evening meal, I have no idea how or why this happened but it did and I'm happy about it. I especially like the gu cheesecake pots which come in little ramekins which you can keep after.

I hope you like my Friday monthly favourites I will be doing them every third Friday of the month as well as a blog post every Monday and Friday for the foreseeable future. Feel free to leave a list of your Friday September favourites below in the comments and don't forget to come back on Monday for a sneak peek into freshers week and what university life is like.

August favourites

Hi guys,

I know its quite late into the month of September but today I've decided that I am going to start doing monthly favourites and since there were a lot of things that I loved in the month of august I've decided to do august favourites for you before September ends.

My first favourite of august has to be a new nail varnish which I picked up and I think this one is perfect for august because it is a very summery blue colour it reminds me of the sky and the sea. Ive never had a beauty uk nail varnish before but it was on the lower skale of nail varnishes so i thought id give it a try and i loved it.

Beauty uk nail varnish £2.99 superdrug in colour tealed with a kiss

My second favourite is these two adorable Topshop bows which I got a few months ago but only just got around to wearing and every time I do I get complements. I love to wear them with a simple ponytail, half up half down hairstyle and my most favourite is when I have a bun in my hair I think a bow hair bobble just finishes off the hair style.

Topshop bow hair bobble £ 3.99 each

My third favourite has got to be this amazing little note book my sister got me when she went on holiday. But its not just this notebook, I've been loving any little handbag sized notebook that I can carry around with me and write a list in or an idea wherever I am. I think that everyone should have one of these because it encourages you to become a lot more organised.

The fourth of my favourites is dry shampoo which I was very sceptical about at the start. But its become one of the things which I have used a lot throughout the summer when I've had a busy few days and not had time to do much with my hair. Its also good for if i need more texture in my hair before curling it as it helps keep the curls in for longer. I would deffinately reccomend it to anyone.

Batise dry shampoo £3.00 from superdrug

Now my last but no means least favourite is the bodyshop moisture foundation with spf 15 in it and ive loved this on days when ive wanted to go for a more natural make up look. The amazing thing about it is that it has spf in it so it protects your skin from the sun but also its easy to apply, doesnt feel cakey and it stays on for a lobg period of time which is always a bonus.

The body shop foundation £13.00

Hope you guys love some of my favourites as much as I do and don't forget to come back next month for my September Friday favourites and on Monday for another surprise post and every Monday and Friday for the rest of your life! Also moving into new university halls tomorrow and I'm so scared haha wish me luck.

Favourites Friday- My Five Favourite Nail Varnishes

Hey Guys,

Today I thought that I would do something different and show five of my favourite high street brand nail varnishes. I dunno if it will be interesting but just trying to find different things I can do :) I'm no beauty expert so I don't know any technical words and I have already used these so sorry for the presentation and photo taking skills :)

Nail Varnish NO1

This is a new addition to my collection, it's Maybelline New York's Colour Show in colour 120 Urban Turquoise By Colorama. This is kind of a two toned nail varnish in one light it looks green and in the other it looks blue.

Nail Varnish/Brand NO2

This second set of nail varnishes/Brand is Kate Spade New York collection by Nails Inc London and these are some of my favourite nail varnishes. I have a set of three the first is 413 Big Apple Red, second is 403 Soho Silver and the third is New York Noir. I love all kinds of nails inc nail varnishes although they can be quite on the pricey side.

Nail Varnish NO3

My next choice of my favourite nail varnish is Ciaté Paint Pots in colour PP105 Play Date. This is a bright red colour but definitely needs a few coats to get the real red. I love this not only for the colour and quality but for the packaging as I think it's very cute.

Nail Varnish/Brand NO4

These are part of the Rimmel London I love lasting finish collection the first one is 030 Double Decker Red colour and the second one is the 045 Misty Jade. I love all things teal coloured when it comes to nail varnish and the Misty Jade was the first one of these I got and I instantly loved them.

Nail Varnish NO5

This is my ultimate favourite nail varnish brand, I have a lot of barry m nail varnishes and this is one of my favourites. This is Barry M's Textured Nail Effects TNP 6 Majesty. I love this one as it stays on for the longest of all my barry m nail varnishes, it's glittery, gold and reminds me of Christmas!

Thankyou for reading my blog
